Well Properties: Sources Tab
The Sources tab displays information about source of the well information that is stored in the database. A source can be the name of a person, a software package, or a central database. Sources can help you manage data from different users and different packages.
Source Table
The source table lists all of the sources currently available in the
project. Type
a search string into the search bar
to limit the
information in the list.
Source: The abbreviated name of
the source.
Source Fields
Use to fields to add or edit the information that appears in the source
table.
Source Name:The abbreviated name of the selected source.
Full Name: The full name of the selected source.
Description:
A brief description of the source.
Source Operations
Add: Add a
new source to the database. Information about the
source must first be entered in the source fields.
Update:
Modify information about the currently selected source. You
cannot modify the source name.
Delete: Delete
the currently selected source from the database. You can only
delete a source if all of the information associated with that source
is removed from the database.
