Grid Export
The Grid Export dialog allows you to export grid data from SeisWare into other packages.

Select the grid(s) for export.

Set the Output Format. If you're exporting "Columnar XYZ", select a Column Separator.

Give the Output File a name. Note: By default, the export goes into your project folder. Click
to change this
location. -
Click
to
create the
output file.
General Information
Grids
Select the grids you want to export. Left click to select a
grid,
or
use the Ctrl
key on your
keyboard to
select multiple grids. To help you make your grid selections, you can
sort any
column by left clicking
on the column header, you can apply a filter
(
), or
you can type a search string
into the search
bar to limit the list using Name,
or
Owner
information.
For additional selection and navigation options right click on the list
of grids to access
the shortcut
menu.
Select All: Select
all
of the grid for export.
Parameters
Output parameters for exporting the grids.
Output
Format: Select
the format of the text
file to export into.
- Photon ASCII: This format can be used to import grids back into SeisX.
- Columnar XYZ: This exports grid nodes as columnar text with the location and grid values as each column.
- ZMAP+: This format can be used to import grids into ZMap+.
Column
Separator:
Specify a separator for the
columns.
Only used
when the Output Format is Columnar XYZ.
- Tab: Use a tab character as the separator between columns.
- Comma: Use a comma "," character as the separator between columns.
- Space: Just use a space " " character as the separator between columns.
Output
File: Specify a name for the
output file. Click
to
change the export location, or select an existing file to overwrite.
