Link Culture: Text Labels

Use the Text Labels page to add text labels for the linked layer. More than one label can be selected.

Note: This page is not available when linking to a SeisWare layer.

Select Labels

Select the labels that you want to appear with the layer. The layers can be moved between the Available and Selected lists using the selection arrows, or by double clicking on a single layer. To help you make your label selections, you can type a search string into the search bar to limit the list based on Line or Dataset information.

Display Properties

Select the display properties for the text. These will not apply to any other element of the file.

Text Color:Click on the color button to select a different color for the generated text labels.

Text Font: Choose the font from the drop down box for the generated text labels.

Text Height: Choose the size for the text label. If using a fixed size, the text will not change on the Basemap when the layer is zoomed. If using a variable size, the text will change size on the Basemap when the layer is zoomed.

Line Labels:Specify the placement of labels along a line object.
