Line Properties: Menus
Most options that are available from the top menu in the Line
Properties can be accessed by right clicking in the main table area.
Line Properties Menu Options
File
New Slice Group:Creates a new slice group that slice files can be added to. Opens up the Slice Group Properties dialog.
Load File Set:Load an already defined file set. Once loaded, the files in the file set will become active and all other lines will become inactive.
Save File Set: Save the selected files to a file set. A file set is a set of files that are active in the project. File sets allow you to quickly turn on sets of lines in large projects. Inactivating files can improve map performance.
Save As:Save the line properties to a tab separated columnar ASCII text file.
Print:Print out the line properties.
Print Preview: Preview what the resulting plot will look like.
Page Setup:Set up plotting parameters.

Edit
Activate:Makes any currently selected files active. This means they will appear on the map.
Inactivate:Makes any currently selected files inactive. This means they will no longer appear on the map.
Set Lines Active From Files:When upgrading older SeisWare databases (earlier than version 6.3) this tool ensures that active/working set statuses are properly synced between the Lines and Files tab.
Delete: Launches a dialog allowing you to detach or permanently delete seismic lines from the project.
Rename Line: Launches a dialog that will allow you to rename seismic lines.
Add Files to Slice Group: Takes the highlighted slice file(s) and allows you to add them to an existing or new slice group.
Edit Seismic Datum:Allows you to set or modify the time seismic datum or depth seismic datum for the project.
Save As Filter:Create a filter based on the selected lines.
Select All:Quickly
selects
all lines displayed in the table.
View
Working Set Only:When this is turned on, only files belonging to the working set will be displayed in the main properties window.
SEG-P Files: When this is turned on, SEG-P files will be displayed in the main properties window. If it is not checked off, SEG-P files will not be visible in the list.
Slice Files: When this is turned on, slice files will be displayed in the main properties window. If it is not checked off, slice files will not be visible in the list. Turn off this item and SEG-P files to see only SEG-Y files.
Full File Name: When this is turned on, the full path of each file is displayed in the file view. If it is not checked off only the base file name of each file is displayed.
Depths in Subsea:When this is turned on, depth seismic files will have their vertical dimension displayed in subsea. If it is not checked off, the vertical dimension will be displayed in true vertical depth.
Invert Selection:Any selected items will no longer be selected, and all previous unselected items will be selected. You might use this when trying to inactivate all but a selected set of files.
Refresh: Reload and redisplay the lines in the list. This item can also be invoked using the F5 key. You may need to manually refresh the list if it has not been updated after changes made in another application.
Detailed Properties:Open the detailed properties dialog. There is a slightly different dialog for 2D lines and 3D lines. This dialog gives additional properties that are not found in the main view. The detailed properties dialog can also be brought up by double clicking on an item in the main list.
Properties Toolbar: When this is turned on, the properties toolbar will be displayed at the top of the window.
Search Toolbar: When this is turned on, the search toolbar will be displayed at the top of the window.
Toolbar: When this is turned on, the toolbar will be displayed at the top of the window.
Status Bar: When
this is turned on, the status bar will be displayed at the top of the
window.
Tools
Data Filters:Launches the Data Filters application.
Define Working Set:The Working Set dialog allows you to quickly define the working set for a project.
Edit Bulk Shift:The Bulk Shift dialog allows you to quickly edit the bulk shift for multiple lines in a project.
SEG-Y Viewer: Use the SEG-Y Viewer to examine the raw header and trace values of the selected files.
Keyword Analyzer: Use the Keyword Analyzer to examine the trace values of the selected file by keyword.
Seismic Viewer:Bring up the selected files in the Seismic Viewer. Note: Wells will not appear in the Seismic Viewer. This is mostly intended for QC of raw data. In order to see wells you need to launch the viewer from the Basemap.
Redefine Data Paths:Launches a dialog allows you to redefine the location of your data files.
Rename Line:Launches a dialog the will allow you to rename seismic lines.
Batch Rename:Launches a dialog the will allow you to batch rename seismic lines or files.
Batch Processing:Launches the Batch Processing application.
SEG-Y Calculator:Launches the SEG-Y Calculator application.
Attribute Calculator:Launches the Attribute Calculator from which you can create semblance volumes.
Seismic Zone Attributes:Launch the Seismic Zone Attributes calculator that allows you to compute attributes over a seismic zone and output a resulting horizon.
Wavelet Analysis:Launch
the Wavelet Analysisapplication
that allows you to cross-correlate wavelets with your seismic data and
output a horizon of the results.
Automatic Mistie Analysis:Launches the Automatic Mistie application that allows you to resolve difference between groups of lines.
Extract Keywords to Horizon:Launches the Extract Keywords wizard that allows you to turn loaded keywords into horizons.
Import Locations:This dialog allows you to import SEG-P or UKOOA positional information into the project.
Export Locations: Launches the Export Locations that allows you to create SEG-P and DXF files from Seismic Lines.
Attach Seismic Files:Attach SEG-Y files to the project that are already in SeisWare format.
Data Loader:Bring up the SEG-Y Data Loader.
Export SEG-Y/Segment Files:Use this wizard to
export SEG-Y files in standard format, and to crop seismic lines or
export saved seismic segments.
