Culture Properties: Toolbars

There are several tool bars at the top of the Culture Properties window that show information about culture layers and also assist you in making edits to different layers.

Main Toolbar

 

Use this toolbar to perform simple functions like deleting and copying layers.

 Delete Selected Layers:Delete the highlighted layer(s).

Copy: Copy the selected layer to the clipboard.

Paste:Paste the layer saved on clipboard. If the layer twp was copied, when pasted it will be called twp: Copy.

Save As Filter: Create a filter based on the selected culture layers.

Print: Print the Culture Properties table.

Print Preview:Launch the Print Preview.

Search Toolbar

 

Filter Selection:Select from a list of existing filters to limit the culture layers in the list.

Search:Enter a search string to limit the culture layers in the list based on the Layer Name, Description and Owner columns. Click    to clear the search text


Properties Toolbar

 

The area at the top of the dialog above the columns shows details of the currently selected culture layer. You can modify any information listed in these fields from the toolbar.

Name:The name of the layer. To change, type a new name in and hit Enter to update.

Description: The description specified  (optional field). To change or add info, type in the field and then hit Enter to update.

Active:If turned on, the layer is active and will show up in other dialogs and on the Basemap. To inactivate the layer, turn this off.

Type: The layer type. Change by selecting a new type from the drop down list.

Owner: The owner of the culture layer. Ownership can be changed if you have adequate permissions associated with your user role.

Use reference scaling (to scale line width):Toggle on to enable a relative scaling of line widths.
