Pad Plan 2D

The Pad Plan 2D window is used to create your field plan. From here you can open the Template Builder to create your well pad templates, and the Pad Plan 3D window to visualize your planned wells in 3D space. The Pad Plan 2D window is the first window that opens when you open the software, and closing this window will end your session.

Features

The Pad Plan 2D window has menus, toolbars, and dialog boxes to create and customize your display. From here you can define your target zones, create a scene with relevant culture, raster, well, and grid information, and then stamp and edit your pads. With your scene complete, compile and export statistics for further analysis. By repeating this process and creating multiple scenes and alternate field development plans you can optimize future development.

When using the software with a standalone license, from this window you can access software and project configuration tools, and data properties windows.
