Resize Grid
The Resize Grid application allows a user to resize an existing grid. This may include making the extents of the grid larger or smaller, or by making the bin sizes larger or smaller.
How do I resize a grid?

Select the Grid to Usein the resize operation.

Specify the grid output parameters by either matching the new grid to an existing grid or defining new grid options.

Click
to resize the grid.
General Information
Grid To Use
Select one grid to resize.
To help you make your grid selection, you can sort any column by left
clicking
on the column header, you can apply a filter (
), or you can type a search string
into the search
bar to limit the list using Name,
and Owner columns.
For additional selection and navigation options right click on the list
of grids to access
the shortcut
menu.
Output Grid Properties
Name: Enter the name to be used for the new grid. This name will also be used as the filename. Ensure it is a unique and new name. The character limit for grid names is 64 characters.
Description:Enter
a description for
the new grid.
Match Existing Grid
Select this option if you
would like to
create a new grid with the same
extents and bin sizes as an existing grid.
Grid
To Match:Select the grid that the output should
be matched to using the drop down.
User Values
Select this option if you would like to define the grid extents and/or bin sizes yourself.
(Optional) Min X , Min Y, Max X and Max Y:If one or more grids are selected, the extents of all the grids combined will be shown here. You may override the extents shown by entering your own values in the fields provided or by dragging out a new area on the Basemap (if the Select From Map button is selected).
Select From Map:This is a toggle button, which can be turned on and off. Click it once to allow selection from the map, then drag a rectangle on the map to set the extents of the grid. Click a second time to stop allowing map selection.
Current Column Width:Displays the current column width of the grid that is selected for resizing.
Current Row Height:Displays the current row height of the grid that is selected for resizing.
Grid Columns and Rows
Define column width and row height: Select this option if you prefer to set the column width and row height by entering those values into the Width and Height fields.
Width:Enter the distance between columns of data in the output grid.
Height:Enter the distance between rows of data in the output grid.
Define number of columns and rows: Select this option if you prefer to set the number of columns and rows of data. The width and height will be calculated based on the extents of the grid and the number of columns and rows.
Columns:Enter the number of columns of data in the output grid.
Rows:Enter the number of rows of data in the output grid.
