Field Development Tool: Grid Properties

The Grids Properties window is used to view, copy, paste, and delete the grids in your project.

Note: If you are using Field Development Tool with Geology or Geophysics, this window will not be available. Please use the tools found on the Main Launcher.

Column Descriptions

The following columns can be displayed in the data table. Left click on any column heading to sort the table using the data in that column. Right click on the column header to open the shortcut menu. ClosedShortcut menu options...

Name:The name of the grid.

Description: An optional description for the grid.  This can be entered when you import the grid.

Owner: The owner of the grid.

Last Modified: The last time the grid file was written to.

Rows: The number of grid nodes in the east/west direction.

Columns: The number of grid nodes in the north/south direction.

Width:The width of a single grid cell in map units.

Height: The height of a single grid cell in map units.

Min X: The leftmost position of the grid in map units.

Min Y:The minimum (bottom most) position of the grid in map units.

Min Z: The minimum value of any node in the grid.

Max X:The rightmost position of the grid in map units.

Max Y:The maximum (top most) position of the grid in map units.

Max Z: The maximum value of any node in the grid.

Menus

The menus at the top of the window contain tools to delete, copy, and paste grids, and customize the appearance of the window.

File Menu: Exit the properties window.

Edit Menu: Access tools to delete, copy, paste, and select data items. Right click in the table to access these tools from a shortcut menu. ClosedSee Edit menu options...
