Filters
Filters can be applied to most data selection lists to limit the data
available for selection, making it much easier for you to choose the
data that you need. Before you can
apply a filter, it needs to exist in your project. You can create a
filter in several ways:
- From the Data Filters window, which can be opened from the Session menu of the Main Launcher.
- From the properties dialog for the data type you're
filtering, select the data you want included and click the Save As Filter icon
.
This opens the Save
Filter dialog, where you can name and save your filter. - From a selection list, select the data that you want included and select Save As Filter from the shortcut menu. This opens the Save Filter dialog, where you can name and save your filter.
Note: Area of Interest Filters and User Filters are applied to your project independently of selection filters. In other words, selecting <All Horizons> as your horizon filter will not reveal horizons unless the user they belong to was selected in the User Filter. If you have applied a horizon filter in the Data Filter Manager, selecting <All Horizons> as your horizon filter will reveal all horizons that are available in the project.
