Project Properties
Use the Project Properties window to open a project, or to view or
modify the properties
for any project. The project that is currently open
will appear in the
list in bold letters, and the icon beside it will be an open folder.
You can use the table, the menus, and the toolbars to help you edit the properties for your project, and access additional project tools.

Main Area
The project that you currently have open will appear in bold text, and be represented with an open folder icon. Sort the columns in ascending or descending order by clicking on the column header. Access project tools and specify project behaviors using the menu options, the icons on the toolbars, or by right clicking anywhere in the table and selecting from the shortcut menu.
Columns
There are a series of columns displaying the properties of all of the projects currently in your project list. Some information can be edited directly from the table, and some is for your information only.
Project Name: Specifies the name of the project. You can modify the name of the project without modifying the Project Folder name. To change the Project Name, click once to highlight the row and then click again to make the cell editable.
Description: An optional description for the project. The description will appear in the project selection dialog. You can leave this field blank. To add a description, click once to highlight the row and then click again to make the cell editable.
Project Folder: The path of the project folder. You cannot modify this value.
Data File Folder: The default folder for SEG-Y files. Click to map to a new folder location. Note that if you edit this value, existing files will remain in their original location.
Coordinate System: The coordinate
system for the project. Click to change the coordinate system. The coordinate
system is not mandatory but is recommended. Note that changing the coordinate
system
will not re-project the data in a project.
Depth Units: The default depth units for the project. If this column reads N/A, you have turned off the option to populate this column in the Options dialog box.
Last Updated: The most recent date that any project file was modified. This value cannot be changed. If this column reads N/A, you have turned off the option to populate this column in the Options dialog box.
Database Type: This indicates the type of database that is used by this project, either Access or SQL LocalDB, or SQL Server. If this column reads N/A, you have turned off the option to populate this column in the Options dialog box.
Server Name: The name of the SQL Server where the project is located. This will be blank for projects that use an Access or SQL LocalDB database.
Version: The version of SeisWare for which the database is currently configured. You can downgrade the database using the Downgrade Database option from the Tools menu.
User Config: Shows whether or not the project environment is set up as Single User or Multi-User.
