General Information
Pick Type Selector
Pick: Indicates if you are picking faults, horizons, or nothing. When you open the Pick Faults dialog this will be defaulted to Faults. It can be changed to Horizons to pick horizons, or <Pick Type> to stop all picking.
Fault Properties
Name: Enter the name of a new fault, or select the name of an existing fault.
Color: Choose the fault color. While you are picking a fault it will appear in the Active Fault Color, and not the color you select.
Type: Choose the type of fault you are picking.
- Unassigned: Use this when you are picking multiple fault segments that may belong to multiple fault systems. You can then reassign the segments belong to the same fault surface, and assign the appropriate type. Unassigned faults can't be triangulated, and won't be accessible in all fault lists.
- Normal: Use this to indicate a normal fault.
- Overthrust: Use this to indicate an overthrust fault.
Sort points in time: When turned on, this will force the points of the fault segment to be sorted in time. Turn off if picking strike faults.
