Palette Editor: Menus
The following describes the items under the menu options at the top of the Palette Editor.
Palette Editor Menus
File
New:Creates a new color palette.
The palette will be filled with
all
black values.
Open: Open an existing
color palette file.
Save to File:Save the
palette to
a file. If the editor has been launched from a
properties dialog, this will also save the new palette directly to the
source properties dialog.
Save As: Saves the current palette to a new or existing file.
Save to Dialog:Save the new palette directly to the
properties
dialog from where the editor was launched.
Import: Import an existing
Color Palette from SeisX, WinPICS or PETRA, or from a columnar RGB
ASCII file.
Print:Not yet implemented.
Print Preview: Not yet implemented.
Page Setup: Not yet implemented.
Exit: Closes the Palette Editor.
Edit
Undo: Each click will
undo one previous operation.
Cut:Cuts out a portion of the colorbar being edited, to
be later pasted.
Copy: Copies a portion of the colorbar being edited, to be
later pasted.
Paste:Pastes a Cut or
Copied portion of the colorbar at the location of the display arrow in
the Color Palette. Portions of the colorbar will be pasted
starting from this point.
Delete:Clears the highlighted portion of the colorbar.
Properties:Launches the Palette Properties dialog,
which tells you the Palette Size of the current colorbar.
View
Advanced Editing Toolbar:Turns the
toolbar display on or off.
Standard Toolbar:Turns the toolbar display on or off.
Status Bar:Turns the toolbar display on or off.
Help
Palette Editor Help:Launches the Palette
Editor help.
About Palette Editor:Launches the About Color Palette
Editor dialog.
