Culture Properties: Change Layer Properties

Use the Change Layer Properties dialog to edit the various properties of the selected culture layers. This can be accessed from the Edit menu, by double clicking on a layer in the main properties dialog, or from the right mouse button menu on the properties grid.

Populate:When you click this button, it will set the properties based on the selected culture layers. If there is more than one value for any property (for instance if you select a contour layer, you may have different line thicknesses), you will get a warning that there is more than one value for this layer or layers. When this happens, it will set the properties based on the most frequent occurrence in the layer or layers.

Line Properties

Change color:Check this item and select a color to change the color of all lines in the culture layer. This does not change the color of text.

Change line pattern:Check this item and select a line pattern to change the line pattern of all lines in the culture layer.

Change line width:Check this item and type in a line width to change the width of all lines in the culture layer. A size of 0 is the thinnest line available. You can use the arrow keys to increase or decrease the line width and the size will be displayed on the right.

Fill Properties

Change fill color:Check this item and select a color to change the interior color of all closed polygon objects in the culture layer.

Change fill pattern:Check this item to change the fill pattern of all closed polygon objects in the culture layer.

Change fill for hollow objects:Check this item to apply the change to the fill pattern to all closed polygons that do not currently have a fill pattern. When left unchecked the changes to the fill pattern will only apply to closed polygons that already have a fill pattern defined.

Symbol Properties

Change symbol color:Check this item and select a color to change the symbol color to.

Change symbol:Check this item to change all symbols in the layer.

Change symbol height: Check this item and specify a height for all of the symbols in the layer.

Text Properties

Change text color: Check this item and select a color to change the color of all text objects in the culture layer.

Change text font:Check this item and select a font to change the font of all text objects in the culture layer.

Change text height:Check this item and specify a height to change the size of all the text objects in the culture layer.
