Convert Database

The Convert Database application is used to convert databases from Access, convert between SQL LocalDB and SQL Server, and to move databases between SQL Servers.

ClosedHow do I convert a database?

  1. Select the From Database Type. 

  2. Select the To Database Type. If you are selecting SQL Server you should also specify a Server Name.

  3. Select the project from the list. Note: Only projects with the database type selected will be shown in the list.

  4. Click  .

Database Selection

From Database Type: The format of the original database. You can check the current database type in Project Properties. 

To Database Type: The format of the database after the conversion.

Project Selection

Project Table: This lists all projects with the From Database Type, showing the Project Name, Description and Folder.

Conversion Operations

Select All: Select all project for conversion.

Convert: Convert the selected projects.
