Create 3D INDX Files

The Create 3D INDX Files application allows the user to create index (.indx) files for SeisWare format 3D SEG-Y files. The index file is used to map individual traces in a 3D SEG-Y file to their respective lines. Sometimes the index file will accidentally get deleted, be corrupt, or some processors do not include the index file when shipping SeisWare format SEG-Y files. When attaching a 3D to your project in a loaded format, the .indx file is needed. This utility allows creation of the file without the need to reload the entire SEG-Y file.

General Information

3D SEG-Y Files: A list of files that have been selected. This will be blank when the dialog is opened.

Files: Use the file selector to select SEG-Y files to generate the index for.

Remove All:Remove all SEG-Y files from the list.

Remove:Remove highlighted SEG-Y files from the list.

OK:Generate the index files.
