Transfer Faults
The Transfer Faults application allows you to transfer faults from one line to another. This is particularly useful when you have 2D lines that overlap a 3D volume or two 3D volumes that overlap. The Transfer Faults application will move fault nodes from one line to another, placing the node on the closest trace (within the search radius) the other line.
-

from the Basemap.
To help you make your seismic line selections, you can sort any column
by left clicking
on the column header, you can apply a filter (
), or you can type a search string

option to
include SEG-P lines in the line list. Most users do not have
interpretation attached to their SEG-P lines, but if you do you will
want this item checked.
Source
The list of seismic lines that you want source faults to be
transferred from. The seismic lines can be moved back to the original
list using the selection
arrows.
Destination

Transfer Properties
This is a list of parameters controlling how faults are transferred.
Search Radius: Enter a distance project units to determine the maximum distance from the XY location of the node on the Source line a transferred node will be placed. If there is more than one trace on the destination line within this radius, the node will be placed on the closest trace.
Output Name Extension: Enter an name to be appended to the original fault name. If this is left blank, the original name is used.
