Velocity Model Properties

The Velocity Model Properties window displays a list of velocity models associated with your current SeisWare project. From here you can copy, paste, rename, and delete velocity models. If you don't have an existing velocity model, create one in the Time/Depth Velocity Modelapplication using the Generate Velocity Model option, available from the Tools menu.

Note: SEG-Y velocity models, which can also be created in the Time/Depth Velocity Model application, are not displayed in this window. These are considered SEG-Y files, and their properties are displayed in the Line Properties window.

The Velocity Model Properties window has menustoolbars, and a table with a list of velocity models and their properties:

The velocity models within a project, and their properties, are displayed in a table. You can sort any of the columns within the table by clicking on the column heading, and re-order the columns by dragging the column heading to a new position. You can access the tools needed to edit the velocity model properties from the menus, or the toolbars.
