Merge Grids
The Merge Grid application allows you to merge one or more source grids into a new or existing grid. The merged grids may be different sizes, cover different areas, and have different row and column spacing. Gaps between grids will remain in place in the output grid. When column widths or row heights change, the values in the output grid are interpolated using bi-cubic spline interpolation.
-
Select the grids to be merged and the behavior for overlapping values.
-
Specify the shape and spacing of the output grid, and optionally select inclusion or exclusion polygons to limit the data points that are merged into the output grid.
-
Enter the name and description of the output grid and generate the grid.
Note: Merging grids doesn't affect the original grids unless you are overwriting one of the original grids. Grids can be deleted from the Grid Properties window.
