Attribute Viewer: Menus
The Attribute Viewer menus let you access the tools used to open seismic files, add and remove layers from your display, and turn toolbars and dialog boxes on and off.
Attribute Viewer Menus
File Menu
Open:
Use the Open Seismic File dialog box to select a SEG-Y file and specify the vertical units. You can select a SeisWare SEG-Y file, or a SEG-Y file that isn't associated with your project. When you select a 2D seismic file, the entire line
will be displayed. When you select a 3D seismic file, the first inline
in the file will be displayed.
Recent Files: A list of the last 10 files that were opened from the File menu. Lines opened from the Basemap will not appear in this list.
Cache Properties: Enter a value to control
the amount of data stored in memory, or use the slider bar to adjust the Cache Size. Increasing this value will allow
you to scroll through your data more quickly.
Load Properties: Load a saved properties file. This will apply the saved Active Layer Display, Active Layer Colors,scale, crosshair, and annotation settings to the active layer
Save Properties: Save the Active Layer Display, Active Layer Colors, scale, crosshair, and annotation settings for the active layer to a file.
Exit: Close the Attribute Viewer.
View Menu
Depth Units: Specify the depth reference when displaying depth seismic. You can view the seismic datum for your depth displays from the Edit menu in the Line Properties window.
Show Crosshairs: Turn the crosshair display on or off. The crosshairs appear as thin, black lines at the location of your cursor on the seismic display. The value at the intersection of the crosshairs is displayed on the status bar at the bottom of the window.
Show Annotation Cursor: Turn the annotation cursors on of off. The annotation cursors are small markers drawn on the vertical and horizontal axes that correspond to the cursor location on the seismic display.
Active layer Colors: Turn the Active Layer Colors dialog box on and off. A check mark next to this item indicates that is currently turned on.
Active Layer Display: Turn the Active Layer Display dialog box on and off. A check mark next to this item indicates that is currently turned on.
Layers: Turn the Layers dialog box on and off. A check mark next to this item indicates that is currently turned on.
Co-blending: Turn the Co-blending dialog box on and off. A check mark next to this item indicates that is currently turned on.
Scale Toolbar: Turn the Scale Toolbar on and off. A check mark next to this item indicates that it is currently turned on.
Slicer Toolbar: Turn the Slicer Toolbar on and off. This toolbar turns on automatically when you are displaying 3D seismic files. A check mark next to this item indicates that it is currently turned on.
Domain Toolbar: Turn the Domain Toolbar on and off. This toolbar turns on automatically when you have an active velocity model. A check mark next to this item indicates that it is currently turned on.
Layers Menu
Add Seismic Layer:
Add another version of the seismic file currently being viewed to the seismic
display. f you are adding a new layer to a display that was created from Basemap, select a new line from the Select Version dialog box.
If you are adding a new layer to a display that was created using the Load option found in the File menu, select a new line from the Open Seismic File dialog box, making sure that the file has the same vertical units as the currently displayed file.
Remove Seismic Layer: Remove the active layer from the display. You can also use the Remove Layer icon (
) in the Layers dialog box to remove a single layer from the display. To temporarily remove a layer, use the Visibility icon (
) in the Layers dialog box. To remove all layers, click the Close Tab icon (
) located on the tab at the top of the main seismic display.
Add Wiggle Overlay: Add a wiggle overlay to the selected seismic file.
