Bulk Shift
The Bulk Shift window allows you to edit the bulk shifts of
seismic lines,
SEG-P lines, or
SEG-Y synthetics. Bulk shifts are specific to each user. In other
words, if two different users open the same project, they may have
different bulk shifts associated with the same seismic data.

Select a line from the Datasets list.

Type in a New Bulk Shift.

Click
to update and close the dialog.
Note: You can change the
shift of non-working set versions of lines selecting "All Seismic" from
the Show Datasets menu. You
can change the shift of multiple lines by holding down Ctrl
and selecting multiple lines.
Bulk Shift Options
General Information
Datasets
Select a line or group of lines from the list, or select a line from
the Basemap. The working set version is listed, but all files can be
shown by selecting "All
Seismic" from the Show Datasets
drop down. To help you make
your selections, left click on any column header to sort
the column, apply a filter (
), or type a
search string into the search bar.
For additional selection and navigation options right click on the Datasets list to access the shortcut menu.
Show Datasets: Modify which files are displayed in the Datasets list.
Working Set: Display only seismic
lines in the working
set.
All Files: Display all seismic lines,
including those
not in the current working set.
New Bulk Shift: Enter a new bulk shift for the selected file or files.
Add Bulk Shift: Enter a new bulk shift which will be added to the current bulk shift for the selected file or files.
Data Operations
Import:
Import an existing bulk shift file. A new dialog
will open allowing you to select the user whose bulk shifts you
want to use, or an existing bulk shift file containing bulk shift
information.
Export: Export a bulk shift file. A new dialog will open allowing you to select the
export format and location.
Import Bulk Shifts
Bulk shifts can be imported from a file or from another user. While all
users may be using the same seismic data, bulk shifts are specific to
each user.
User
Import bulk shifts from another user of the same project.
File
Import bulk shifts from an existing bulk shift file.
Format: Select the format of file to load.
SeisWare Export: A simple text file
exported from the
bulk shift export dialog.
SeisX 3.x statshift: Import a series of
SeisX static
shift
files from SeisX version 3. Useful when converting a SeisX
project to SeisWare.
SeisX 4.x
Working Set Export: Import static shifts from a SeisX version 4
working set export file.
Input Files:
Display a list of files selected for import.
Files:
Open an dialog to browse for input files.
Remove All: Remove
all files from the Input Files list.
Remove:
Remove the selected files from the Input Files
list.
Export
Export a list of bulk shifts to a file. The Export file contains the
shift for
all lines. This is useful for
preserving
bulk
shifts for files that are temporarily deleted from a project.
Bulk shifts can later be reloaded using the import
dialog.
Export As
Specify how to export the bulk shifts.
SeisWare Bulk Shift File: Export to a simple text file for later import back into SeisWare using the import dialog.
Photon statshift Files: Export as a series of Photon statshift files. Useful for exporting a project back to Photon.
Use Bulk Shift From
Use Bulk Shifts From: Select the user whose bulk shifts you want included in the export file.
Export File Information
File Name: Specify a file name. Only used
when exporting a SeisWare bulk
shift file. Click
to select a specific file to
overwrite.
Output Folder:
Specify the destination folder
for the output. Only used when
exporting Photon statshift files. More than one file is
generated, so a destination directory needs to be specified. Click
to select an output directory.
