Attribute Viewer
The Attribute Viewer is a visualization tool used to display seismic data in horizontal or vertical section view. You can overlay up to three versions of a seismic file, controlling the color, data range, and opacity of each file separately, to create a complex, co-blended display. When there is an active velocity model in your project, you can change the display between time and depth with in one step to perform further analysis on your file.
To open a blank Attribute Viewer window from the Main Launcher, from either the Launch or Seismic menu, select Attribute Viewer. Once open, you can load one, or multiple seismic files. To launch the application directly from the Basemap, turn on Launch Attribute Viewer () from the Selection Toolbar, and make a seismic selection. Note: When you turn on Launch Attribute Viewer, any seismic selection tools that can't be used will become inactive.
The Attribute Viewer has menus, toolbars, and dialog boxes to help create your seismic display:
General Information
The Attribute Viewer contains menus, toolbars and dialog boxes to help you create your seismic display. The dialog boxes can be docked on either side of the display, and stacked, so you can maximize the space being used to display data within the window.
When you open multiple seismic files in one Attribute Viewer window,
you'll see a series of tabs displaying the names of the seismic
files at the top of the seismic display. Click on the tab belonging to
the seismic file you want to view. To
remove a seismic file and all of its associated layers from the Attribute Viewer, click the Close Tab icon ().
