Inter-well Pick Properties: Toolbars

There are three toolbars in the Inter-well Picks Properties window to help you manage your inter-well picks. These can be used to search for specific names, change properties, and perform standard editing functions (copy, paste, delete).

Properties Toolbar

The Properties Toolbar is used to modify the properties for the selected group of inter-well picks. The fields on this toolbar will only become active if you have permission to change the properties for the selected item.

Name: The formation name of the group of inter-well picks. Because of how inter-well picks are created and used, names should match an existing formation name in your project, and should not be changed. Inter-well formation names do not have to match an existing formation in your project only when you are generating your depth grids using velocity curves.

Description:A user supplied text description for the group of inter-well picks.

Owner: The owner of the inter-well picks.

Search Toolbar

The Search Toolbar is used to search for specific inter-well pick formation names.

Search:Enter a search string to limit the items in the table based on the Name, Description, and Owner columns. Click to clear the search text.

Standard Toolbar

The Standard Toolbar is used to perform basic tasks including copying, pasting, and deleting velocity models.

Delete Selected Inter-well Picks: Delete the selected inter-well picks. Note that this will remove all of the points associated with the selected item. You must delete individual picks from the Edit Velocity Grid window in the Velocity Modeling application.

Copy: Copy the currently selected group of inter-well picks to the clipboard. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+C to perform this function.

Paste: Paste the copied inter-well picks into the project. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+V to perform this function. If you are copying your own group of picks, it will get the suffix "- Copy". If you are copying another user's group of picks, the picks will retain the original name, but have a different owner.

Print: Print the Inter-well Pick Properties table.

Print Preview: Launch the Print Preview.
