Cross Section View: Edit Menu

The Edit menu lets you access the tools required to edit the data in your project, as well as edit the appearance of the cross section display. Most of the tools in this menu can be accessed from the Actions toolbar and theButtons toolbar.

Undo: Sequentially undo any picks additions or edits you have made during the session. This option is also available on the Actions toolbar.

Active Interpreter: Open the Set Active Interpreter dialog box to change the Active Interpreter in the project.

Default Applications: Open the Default Applications dialog box to assign the default applications to use when opening hyperlinked data, and assign hyperlink marker colors.

Datum: Open the Choose One Surface dialog box to select a datum for the display. When a datum is selected it will appear beside the Datum option. This option is also available on the Buttons toolbar.

Quick Pick: Open the Pick Controls dialog box to enter Quick Pick mode, select a surface, and set other quick pick properties. This option is also available on the Buttons toolbar.

Set Quick Pick Surface: Open the Select Quick Pick Surface dialog box to select or create a surface for which you will create picks. You can leave this dialog box open while in Quick Pick mode to quickly change the surface you are picking. This can also be opened from the Pick Controls dialog box.

Cross Section: Open the Select Cross Section dialog box to select a cross section to display, and set the dynamic cross section controls. This option is also available on the Buttons toolbar.

Log Curves: Open the Log Curve Selection dialog box to select the curves or curve templates to display next to each well. When you select multiple curves or templates, use the attribute selection arrows on the Actions toolbar to change the curve or curve template being displayed. This option is also available on the Buttons toolbar.

Surfaces: Open the Select Surface for Cross Section dialog box to select the surfaces and faults you want displayed on the cross section. This option is also available on the Buttons toolbar.

Intervals: Open the Interval Display Controls dialog box to select the intervals you want displayed and determine how they will appear. This option is also available on the Buttons toolbar.

Active Interval: Open the Select Active Interval dialog box to select the interval type to assign to newly defined intervals. This option is also available on the Buttons toolbar.

Seismic: Open the Cross Section Seismic Backdrop dialog box to turn on a seismic backdrop for your cross section. This option is also available on the Buttons toolbar.

Annotations: Open the Cross Section Annotations Configuration dialog box to control the annotation being displayed on the cross section, including lines, shapes, images, text, and measurements. This option is also available on the Buttons toolbar.

Curve Filters: Open the Cross Section View Display Controls dialog box on the Wells tab to apply a curve filter to the data. This option is also available on the Buttons toolbar.

Ghost Curve: Open the Ghost Curve dialog box to turn on Drag and Drop of Picks, and to turn on ghost curves, which can be used to help place dragged picks. This option is also available on the Buttons toolbar.

Tie Picks to Wells: Tie any orphaned picks to the well UWI and MD value. This option is useful if you delete or re-import wells into your project. You can turn on the option to make this process automatic from the Options menu.

Tie Intervals to Wells: Tie any orphaned intervals to the well UWI and MD value. This option is useful if you delete or re-import wells into your project. You can turn on the option to make this process automatic from the Options menu.

Delete Orphaned Well Picks: Remove any well picks that are not associated with a well currently in the project.
