Seismic Viewer: Shortcut Menu
The following options are available from the Shortcut menu, access by right clicking on the seismic display in the Seismic Viewer. You can also access these features from the menus and toolbars.
Main Menu
Attribute Analysis: Define a subset of the data by dragging out an area with your mouse that will appear in the Zoom Window.
Bulk Shift: Open the Edit Bulk Shift dialog, used to manually apply a shift to seismic lines.
Quick Processing: Launch the Quick Processing Dialog, used to apply processing to the seismic lines.
Clone: Creates a duplicate display of the current Seismic Viewer. It will launch a new Seismic Viewer that is identical to the current display. Useful when comparing different versions of the same line, and used in conjunction with the talk/listen features.
Versions/Overlays: Launch the Versions/Overlays dialog allows you to change the version of a file or the overlay being displayed in the viewer without having to reselect the seismic. You can also quickly access this by right clicking in the main area of the Seismic Viewer.
Tools Menu
SEG-Y Viewer: Launch the SEG-Y Viewer with information for the current seismic file displayed.
Attribute Viewer: Launch the Attribute Viewer with data from the current seismic file displayed.
Horizon Menu
Pick Horizons: Launch the Pick Horizons dialog. Use this for creating and modifying interpretation on the viewer.
Displayed: Launch the Displayed Horizons dialog. This allows you to select which active horizons are shown in the Seismic Viewer.
Horizon Properties:Launch the window. This is the master properties for all horizons in the project.
Flatten: Launch the Flatten Horizons dialog. This is used to flatten the seismic display to a picked horizon visually. Note: This does not permanently flatted the seismic data. To do so, use the Batch Processing applications.
Toggle Flattening: After flattening parameters are created in the Flatten Horizons dialog above, quickly turn flattening on or off. If checked on, flattening is being applied to the current view.
View Horizons: Quickly turn displayed horizons on and off. When this has a check mark the horizons will be visible on the Seismic Viewer.
Lock Existing Picks: When turned on, any existing picks will not be changed while picking horizons. Turn off to modify existing horizon picks.
Save Slice to Horizon: Saves the currently viewed slice file to a horizon. Use the Horizon field to type in the name for the slice or select an existing name from the drop down. This is very useful for proportional slices as it will display exactly where then slice is in time.
Fault Menu
Pick faults: Launch the Pick Faults dialog.
Fault Properties: Launch the Fault Propertieswindow.
Reassign Fault Segment: Launch the Reassign Fault Segments dialog. Note: This option is only available if a fault segment is currently selected in the Seismic Viewer.
Correlation Polygon:Define correlation polygons that can be dragged around the seismic to visually correlate different areas of the data.
Triangulate Faults: Open the Triangulate Faults dialog.
View Faults: Quickly turn faults on or off in the Seismic Viewer. If checked on, the faults will be seen.
Displayed: Open the Displayed Faults dialog to determine which faults are visible on your seismic display.
Well Menu
Set Displayed Tops:Launch the Set Displayed Tops dialog that allows you to specify the tops and sources used for display in the Seismic Viewer.
Generate Synthetic: Launch the Generate Synthetic dialog
which allows you to generate a synthetic from
curve information and insert a synthetic track, or overlay a synthetic
onto a seismic section.
Load Database Synthetic:Launch the Load Database Synthetic dialog allowing you to select a saved SEG-Y synthetic and insert or overlay that synthetic onto the seismic section.
Move Synthetic:Move an already inserted synthetic track or synthetic overlay by clicking and dragging.
Delete Synthetic:Select a specific synthetic track or synthetic overlay to be deleted.
Delete All Synthetics:Remove all inserted synthetic tracks and synthetic overlays from the display.
Synchronize Synthetic Tracks: Not yet implemented.
Overlay Curve: Launch the Overlay Curve dialog, allowing you to select a curve to be displayed in the Seismic Viewer.
Move Curve:Reposition the curve on the seismic display.
Delete Curve:Remove the selected curve from the display.
Delete All Curves:Remove all curves from the display.
Stretch/Squeeze:Launch the Stretch and Squeeze dialog that allows you to modify the current velocity curve to create a better synthetic tie.
Other Options
General Properties: Open the Seismic Display Properties window.
Slice: Launch the Attribute Viewer and display a slice that corresponds to the vertical position of your cursor. Note: This option is only available when you are displaying a 3D file.
Versions: Select a different version of the seismic file to display from a list of all versions.
Overlays: Select a different version of the seismic file to use as an overlay from a list of all versions.
