Seismic Viewer: Reassign Fault Segment
Allows the user to reassign the currently selected fault segment to a
new
fault. This item is only available if the Pick Faults dialog is active and a fault segment is currently
selected.
How do I reassign a fault segment?

Select a fault segment by clicking on it while in fault picking mode.

From the Fault menu select Reassign Fault Segment.
- in the Reassign Fault Segment dialog select either:
- Assign To and then select a
name that already exists, or
- New faultand then enter a
new fault name.
- Assign To and then select a
name that already exists, or

Click
and the fault segment will be
reassigned.
General Information
Assign To
Existing fault: Select this item to assign the fault
segment to a currently existing
fault.
Then select a single fault from the list and click .
New fault: Select this item to assign the fault
segment to a new fault.
Then
type in the name of the new fault and select a color. Click to create the new fault and assign the
segment to the
fault.
Name:Name of the new fault to create.
Color:Color for the new fault.
Type: Type of
fault
to create.
