Map View: Edit Menu

The Edit menu lets you access the tools required to edit the data in your project, as well as edit the appearance of the map. Most of the tools in this menu can be accessed from the Actions toolbar and theButtons toolbar.

Undo: Sequentially undo any picks additions or edits you have made during the session. This option is also available on the Actions toolbar.

Cross Sections: Open the Map View Cross Section Display Controls dialog box to create new cross sections, modify the dynamic cross section controls, and determine which cross sections are visible on the map and control how they will appear. You can also open this dialog box from the Buttons toolbar.

Faults: Open the Fault Edit Controls dialog box to select the faults and faults sets to display on the map, and control how they will appear. You can also open this dialog box from the Buttons toolbar.

Culture: Open the Culture Data Configuration dialog box to select the culture layers you want to display on the map, and control how they appear. You can also open this dialog box from the Buttons toolbar.

Seismic: Open the Map View Seismic Controls dialog box to load a seismic volume, and select a slice to display on the map. You can also open this dialog box from the Buttons toolbar.

Annotations: Open the Map View Annotations Configuration dialog box to control the annotations being displayed on the cross section, including lines, shapes, images, text, and measurements. You can also open this dialog box from the Buttons toolbar.

Basemap Seismic Spectrum: Open theMap View Seismic Color Spectrum dialog box to select the seismic color spectrum and seismic opacity spectrum to use on displayed seismic data.

Tie Picks to Wells: Tie any orphaned picks to the well UWI and MD value. This option is useful if you delete or re-import wells into your project. You can turn on the option to make this process automatic from the Options menu.

Tie Intervals to Wells: Tie any orphaned intervals to the well UWI and MD value. This option is useful if you delete or re-import wells into your project. You can turn on the option to make this process automatic from the Options menu.

Delete Selected Wells: Permanently delete all of the selected wells and associated data from the project. You will receive a warning before any action is taken.

Delete Orphaned Well Picks: Remove any well picks that are not associated with a well currently in the project.
