Cross Section View: View Menu
The View menu provides access to the dialog boxes used to select the data to display, and adjust the controls for the overall behavior and appearance of the Cross Section View window. Many of these tools are also available on the Buttons and the Actions toolbars.
Picks: Open the Cross Section Pick Display dialog box to add and remove surface and fault picks from the cross section display. You can also open this dialog box from the Buttons toolbar.
Intervals: Open the Interval Display Controls dialog box to select the intervals you want displayed and determine how they will appear. This option is also available on the Buttons toolbar.
Labels: Open the Labels dialog box to change the label display settings for all cross sections, or for the current cross section. You can also open this dialog box from the Buttons toolbar.
Keymap: Open theKeymap Options dialog box to display a keymap and adjust the keymap settings. You can also open this dialog box from the Buttons toolbar.
Interval Filter: Open the Interval Display Filters dialog box to turn on time or value filter for your interval displays.
2D Controls: Open the Cross Section View Display Controls dialog box to set the cross section display properties including panning options, background color, and well appearance. You can also open this dialog box from the Buttons toolbar.
Scale: Open theCross Section Scale dialog box on the Scale tab to set the horizontal and vertical scales for the cross section, determine the width of the curve templates, and turn on vertical panels for horizontal wells. You can also open this dialog box from the Buttons toolbar.
Limits: Open the Cross Section Scale dialog box on the Display Limits tab to set the top and bottom display limit for the cross section. You can also open this dialog box from the Buttons toolbar.
Toolbars: Turn the Mode, Actions, or Buttons toolbars on and off, or reset the toolbars to their original positions.
Reset View: Build the display using the original cross section scale and position. Note that this will not restore a flipped view, or reset a dynamically moved cross section.This tool is also available on the Actions toolbar.
Reset Xsect: Build the display using the original cross section after dynamically moving the section. Note that this will restore a flipped view. You can also access this tool from the Buttons toolbar.
Flip View: Reverse the orientation of the cross section display. You can also access this tool from the Buttons toolbar.
Remove All Surface Profiles From Display: Remove all surfaces from the cross section display. This provides an alternative to opening the Select Surface for Cross Section dialog box and manually removing all of the surfaces.
Remove All Picks/Points From Display: Remove all picks and points from the cross section display. This provides an alternative to opening the Cross Section Pick Display dialog box and manually removing all of the picks.
Build Display: Refresh the display. Use this to ensure that all of the data in the display is up-to-date. You can also access this tool from the Buttons toolbar and from the Actions toolbar.
