Grid and Contour: Select Wells

Select the Well UWIs, the Formations and the Formation Sources to use in the grid and contour operation.


Include Well Tops

Grid Well Tops: Turn this on if you want to use well tops in the gridding process.

Select Wells

Select the wells whose formations you want to use in the calculation. The data from each selected well will be used as seed points in the gridding process. Use the Ctrl key on your keyboard to select multiple wells, or select a group of wells from the Basemap.

To help you make your well selections, you can sort any column by left clicking on the column header, you can apply a filter (), or you can type a search string into the search bar to limit the list using UWI, Name, or Owner information.

For additional selection and navigation options right click on the Well UWIs list to access the shortcut menu.

Select All: A quick way to select all the wells.

Deselect AllA quick way to select no wells.

Select Formations

Select one or more formation tops to use. Multiple formations can be selected using the Ctrl key on your keyboard. To help you make your well selections, you can sort any column by left clicking on the column header, you can apply a filter (), or you can type a search string into the search bar to limit the list using Formation information.

For additional selection and navigation options right click on the Formation: Short Names list to access the shortcut menu.

Select Sources

Select one or more sources. Multiple sources can be selected using the Ctrl key on your keyboard. The data from each selected source for every selected formation for the selected wells will be used as seed points in the gridding process.

Select All: A quick way to select all the sources.

Deselect All: A quick way select no sources.
