Well Properties: Deviation Top Ticks

If you have deviated wells in your project, this page allows you to add formations/top lines and zone lines along the deviated survey.

Posting Parameters

Font: Specifies the font used for the posting.

Posting Size:Specifies the size of the posting.

Tick Size: Specify the desired size of the tick mark.

Tick Width: Specify the desired width of the tick mark.

Top Ticks Options

Show Tops Ticks: Select this option to display top ticks on the deviation.

Post Formation Name: Select this option to display the formation name on the deviation.

Post Top Value: Select this option to display the formation top value on the deviation.

Display Tops List: Select the list of tops to display along with their colors. These lists are created in the Set Displayed Tops application. Click on the Edit button to edit the list of tops being displayed or to create a new list of tops.

Zone Tick Options

Show Zone Ticks: Select this option to display zone ticks on the deviation.

Post Zone Name: Select this option to display the zone name on the deviation.

Post Zone Value: Select this option to display the zone value on the deviation.

Display Zone List: Select the list of zones to display along with their colors. These lists are created in the Set Displayed Zones application. Click on the Edit button to edit the list of zones being displayed or to create a new list of zones.

Note: If you would like to ensure that tops are not redundantly posted at the well symbol, turn on "Don't Post Top If Top Is Posted Along Deviation" on the Well Posting page.

Note: Fixed sized objects will remain the same regardless of the map scale. Variable sized objects will change size with the map scale.
