Time/Depth Velocity Modeling: Display Grids

The Display Grids dialog box contains thumbnail images of the grids being used and produced in the time/depth calculation for the layer currently selected in the Layers dialog box. Use the buttons below the grids to preview each grid in more detail and, for velocity grids, edit, add, and remove velocity points. As you move your cursor over the thumbnail images, the coordinates are displayed in the Status Bar.

The Display Grids dialog box can be turned off, minimized and moved to help you access the display and analysis tools available in the other dialog boxes.

Palette: Select a palette from the list. A preview of the palette is displayed next to the selection list, and the same palette is used for all of the grids.

Time Grid:Click to see a preview of the time grid.

Velocity Grid: Click to see a preview of the velocity grid. The velocity points used to create the grid can be edited and inter-well picks can be added.

Compaction Grid: Click to see a preview of the compaction grid. This area will be blank in you are not using compaction in your calculation.

Depth Grid:Click to see a preview of the depth grid.
