Adding Supplementary Palettes
The default palettes from Hampson-Russel™, Resolve™ and Transform™ software are available for use within SeisWare software. These palette files are located in the main SeisWare Support folder and need to be manually moved before they can be used in a SeisWare project.
The palettes in a SeisWare project are copied from the SeisWare Support folder when the project is first created. To ensure additional palette files are available for use in any new projects follow these steps.
-
Navigate to the Support folder from the Main Launcher by selecting File then Configuration.
-
Press
beside the Support Folder path. -
Open the Palettes folder.
-
Copy the palette (*.pal) file from the respective sub folder (Hampson-Russell, Resolve or Transform) and paste it into the main Palettes folder.
Only those palette files directly in the Palettes folder will be
available for use in a new project. You can also remove a palette from
your palettes list.
If the project has already been created the palette files will need to
be copied from the main Support folder to the project’s Palette
folder.
-
Navigate to the Support folder from the Main Launcher by selecting File then Configuration.
-
Click
beside the Support Folder path. -
Open the Palettes folder.
-
Copy the palette (*.pal) file from the respective sub folder (Hampson-Russell, Resolve, Recon or Transform).
-
Navigate to your project folder. This can be done from Project menu of the Main Launcher by selecting Explore.
-
Open the Palettes folder within the project folder.
-
Paste the palette (*.pal) file that was copied from the Support folder into the Palettes folder.
