Culture Editing: Culture Line Toolbar

The Culture Line Toolbar is used to define the width of the line used to draw an object, select fill properties for a closed object, and define the line type for an object. There are additional tools used to smooth objects, to close and open polygons, to join open objects, to extend open objects, and to erase a portion of a selected object.

You can now extend the culture object with a series of clicks to create a polygon, or by holding and dragging the mouse and extending the object in freehand mode. Turn adding off when you have finished adding nodes.

or Eraser: Turn this on () and place your cursor () over the part of the object that you want to erase. Click and move your mouse to erase the lines and nodes of the selected object. You will see an outline that represents the brush size. The erase tool only works on the selected object, and won't affect any other culture objects or layers.
