Attribute Viewer: Co-Blending

The Co-blending dialog controls how each seismic file contributes to the final seismic display. The dialog displays a list of visible seismic files next to its current colorbar, and a graphical display showing the relative contribution of each volume to the display. When you are displaying two or three layers, you can move the marker on graphical co-blending display to adjust the opacity for the layers. To view the actual contribution of each layer in the final display, expand the opacity options () for each layer in the Layers dialog box. Note: Because the layers are stacked, when all of the layers are contributing equally to the display, they will not all have the same opacity value. For example, if you are displaying three layers that are contributing equally to the display, the lowest layer will be drawn at 100% opacity, the middle layer at 50%, and the upper layer at 33%.

Opacity Marker:  Move the opacity marker between the volumes to change the relative contribution of each file to the final seismic display. Move the marker closer to the volume you want to have a greater contribution to the final seismic display. This will adjust the opacity of the layers. To view actual contribution of each layer in the final display, expand the opacity options () for each layer in the Layers dialog box. When you are displaying two layers, the marker is placed on a line with one layer represented at each end; when you are displaying three layers, the marker is placed in a triangle, with one layer represented at each apex.

Switch Volume: Select a different version of the seismic file to display.
