Calculation Tools

There are several tools that can be used to calculate new data from existing data. Use the Grid Operations dialog box to perform mathematical operations on one or more grids, and output a new grid. Use the Data Operations dialog box to perform mathematical operations on one or more data sets, such as a point set, and output a horizon or point set. The Calculation dialog box is used to s used to apply an algorithm to an existing curve (e.g. smoothing and scaling), and create new log curves from existing log curve data with user-defined equations.
