Seismic Analysis: Instantaneous Parameters

The Instantaneous Parameters page will be present when instantaneous and wavelet attributes are selected.  The instantaneous attribute parameters comprise two categories, the first being parameters for a combined Hilbert-Butterworth filter, and the second being a parameter for the Relative Acoustic Impedance attribute.

Hilbert-Butterworth Filter Parameters

Low Cut Frequency (Hz): The frequency defining the lower edge of the frequency band to be maintained.

High Cut Frequency (Hz): The frequency defining the upper edge of the frequency band to be maintained.

Low Cut Slope (dB):The rate of change for the frequency attenuation on the lower side of the pass band.

High Cut Slope (Hz): The rate of change for the frequency attenuation on the upper side of the pass band.

Relative Acoustic Impedance Parameters

Acoustic Impedance Window (msec):This parameter defines the size a moving window over which the relative acoustic impedance is calculated.
