2D Seismic Properties: Horizon Posting

For any horizon ribbon posted on a 2D seismic line, you can display the values along the seismic line. Use these settings to configure horizon posting labels. To define the number of decimals used in horizon postings, see the Horizon Properties.

Enable Posting

Show Horizon Posting: Toggle the defined postings on and off.

Posting Parameters

Post By: Select how the horizon is posted on 2D seismic lines.  Shot, CDP, and trace offset are the available selections.

Start Posting At, End Posting At, Increment Posting By: The starting, ending, and increment posting values. The value entered here should be appropriate to the selection in "Post By". Generally, using the first and last trace for posting is the best application for all lines. If using line-by-line properties, you can have values specific to that line.

Posting Tolerance: The allowed variance from the specified post by value where values will still post. For example, if the posting was set up to have values at shot 100 and the nearest shot is 100.05, the posting will still appear if the posting tolerance is more than .05.

Text Font, Text Size, Text Color: These define the text for the posting. Select the font, specify the size, and select a color.

Post Horizon On First And Last Traces: This always posts the values present on the first and last traces of the line.

Note: Fixed sized object will remain the same regardless of the map scale. Variable sized objects will change size with the map scale.
