Copy Velocity Curve to Wells

The Copy Velocity Curve To Wells dialog allows you to copy a velocity curve to a well with no velocity curve.

Well List

Select the wells you want to copy the velocity curves to from this list. Left click to select a well, or use the Ctrl key on your keyboard to select multiple wells. You can also select a group of wells from the Basemap. To help you make your well selections, you can apply a filter (), or type a search string into the search bar.

Select All:Select all wells in the list.

If Velocity Curve Exists

Specify how to copy if there is already a velocity curve with the same name and source for one of the selected wells.

Retain existing curve: Do not add the curve to the well if there is already a velocity curve with the same name and source.

Overwrite existing curve: If there is already a velocity curve with the same name and source, overwrite the existing curve.

Make Curve Active

Specify whether or not to make the curve the active curve for each well it is copied to.

Only if no active curve exists: Only make the curve the active curve if there is not already an active curve for each well it is copied to.

Always make curve active: Makes the curve the active curve for every well it is copied to.

Optional Overrides

By default the name and source of the original velocity curve are used. You can override these values here.

Name:Specify a new name for the velocity curve.

Source: Specify a new source for the velocity curve.
