Time/Depth Velocity Modeling: Well Statistics

The Well Statistics dialog box displays the standard deviations and correlation values for your Well Data Points. If you remove wells from your Well Data Points dialog, the Well Statistics dialog calculations will update.

The Well Statistics dialog box can be turned off, minimized, and moved to help you access the display and analysis tools available in the other dialog boxes.

Well Statistics Calculations

There are 5 statistics that are automatically calculated based on the Well Data Points dialog.

Time Std. Dev.: The standard deviation of the time values at your well points.

Depth (Sub Sea) Std. Dev.: The standard deviation of the sub sea depth values at your well points.

Depth (TVD) Std. Dev. : The standard deviation of the TVD depth values at your well points.

Depth (Sub Sea) Correlation: The correlation value of your sub sea depth values and time values at your well points.

Depth (TVD) Correlation: The correlation value of your TVD depth values and time values at your well points.
