Data Loader: Individual File Parameters
Use the Individual File Parameters page to override default
parameters for each individual
SEG-Y
file. For a line to be considered a version of another line
it must have the same Line Name and a different Type and/or
Version Number assigned to
it. When a SEG-Y file has the same Line Name it must also have the same
number of traces because picked horizons are automatically projected
onto that line. If a version of a SEG-Y file is loaded
with a different line name you will not see the horizons automatically
projected and you will not be able to toggle between different versions
using the right mouse button (RMB) in the Seismic Viewer.
Line Name: The line name associated with the resulting output file. The maximum number of characters allowed is thirty two. By default we will attempt to derive the file name from the name of the original file. If you have defined the "Line Name" keyword an attempt is made to extract the line name from the original SEG-Y files.
Display Type: You can override the default that was set on the Default Load Parameters page.
Start Trace: Specify a start trace if you do not wish to load the entire line. By default the file is loaded from the first trace. You may need to set this parameter when loading different versions of a line that do not have the same number of traces.
End Trace: Specify an end trace if you do not wish to load the entire line. By default the file is loaded up to the last trace in the original file. You may want to set this to truncate garbage data from the end of a line.
