Basemap: Basic Toolbar
The Basic Toolbar allows you to preform various zooming operations, create and edit culture and re-draw the Basemap.
Define
Home Position: Defining the home position allows you to
quickly move back

desired scale and position then click on the "Define Home Position" (
) icon. This remembers the current scale and position and can
be
reverted back to at any time by clicking on the "Go to Home Position" (
) icon.
Fit Map
(Shift
+ F3): Scale the map to fit all active data
into
the
window. This will cause the entire map to be zoomed to fit inside the
window
maintaining the aspect ratio. Previous zooms will not be
forgotten, so
you can restore the previous view by selecting the zoom out icon.

on
the starting point to zoom in
on. Drag the mouse, while holding the left mouse button down, to the
second

the process of zooming.

the zoom previous to the last zooming operation. Can be used
multiple times as an 'Undo' to zooming operations.

center of the map will remain in the same position.

such as
volumetrics, culture editing, zooming, etc.

Redraw
the map without reloading the horizons. If the map did not
automatically update all information (e.g. editing culture)
the redraw map forces this correction.

Map and Horizons (Shift + F5): Redraw and reload the
map and horizons. Reloading the
horizons may correct issues involving scaling
or the colorbar.

Basemap Properties dialog.

Culture (C): Launch the Edit Culture
tools.
Post Note: This
operation acts
the
same as "Edit Culture" however, it will default to Sticky Notes as
