Map View Tools: Edit Cross Section
The Edit Cross Section dialog box is used to edit existing cross sections, changing the name, color, and not locations. To open this dialog box, from the Cross Section Display Controls dialog box, click on a cross section in the Edit column.
Edit: Edit individual cross section nodes. Select a node on the map and then drag it to a new position using the Node Location behavior, or click on a location to add a new node.
Undo: Sequentially undo changes made after opening the dialog box.
Associate Individual Wells: Click on a well to associate the well with the cross section. This wells will be projected onto the section in Section View.
Associate Wells by Rectangle Selection: Select wells to associate with the cross section using a rectangle. These wells will be projected onto the section in Section View.
Associate Wells by Lasso Selection: Select wells to associate with the cross section using a polygon. These wells will be projected onto the section in Section View.
Zoom and Pan: Zoom and pan the display to help make selections and then select a tool to continue editing the cross section.
Name and Color: Change the name of the cross section or click on the color field to open the Color Table and select or change the color that will be applied to the line representing the cross section in the 3D View and Map View windows.
Node Location: Select the picking behavior when editing the cross section.
XY Node:Place cross section nodes at the exact location of your cursor. In Section View, wells are projected onto the cross section based on their proximity, as defined by the distance value in the Projection buffer in the Map View Cross Section Display Controls dialog box.
Snap to Well TD: Place the cross section node at the TD location of the well closest to your cursor location.
