When you are in Hyperlink Object mode, clicking on a well bore or log display will open the New Hyperlink dialog box. Use this dialog box to select a file, enter a comment, or create a command that you can associate with a marker placed on the display, and adjust the marker display properties. To re-open the Edit Hyperlink dialog box to edit or remove a hyperlink, in Select Object mode, click on the hyperlink marker, or right click on the marker and select Edit from the shortcut menu.

Type

File: Select a file from its folder location. Make sure that the file you select has been associated with a default application in the Default Applications dialog box.

Comment: Enter a comment. This will be displayed in an dialog box when you execute the hyperlink.

Command: Enter a UNIX/LINUX command that will be executed when you select the hyperlink.

Marker

Shape: Select a marker shape. This will be displayed in two dimensions in Cross Section View, and three dimension in 3D View. Choose from Narrow Cylinder or Rectangular Box.

Color: This will display the default color for the file type selected. Click on the color field to open the Color Table and change the color for the marker.

Delete: This option will only be available when you are editing a hyperlink marker. Click to remove the selected marker.
