Interval Tools: Interval Data
The Interval Data window is used to edit, analyze, and remove interval data. There are a series of menus at the top of the window, and one or more data tabs, each displaying a large data table containing the interval data. The number of tabs in this window is controlled by the number of Interval Classes in the project. Every tab represents an Interval Class that is associated with one or more Interval Types.
Menus
File Menu: The File menu has options to save project and interval data. See File menu options....
Edit Menu: The Edit menu contains tools to delete and add interval data, and automatically populate the data columns. See Edit menu options...
Tabs
The number of tabs in this window is controlled by the number of Interval Classes in the project. Every tab represents an Interval Class that is associated with one or more Interval Types.
Column Headings
Not all columns have to contain data. Required columns are UWI, From MDepth and To MDepth.
#: The table entry number.
From MDepth: The upper limit of the interval. Editing this value will automatically change the From Elev. value.
To MDepth: The lower limit of the interval. Editing this value will automatically change the To Elev. value.
From Elev.: The upper limit of the interval expressed as an elevation. Editing this value will automatically change the From MDepth value.
To Elev.: The lower limit of the interval expressed as an elevation. Editing this value will automatically change the To MDepth value.
Well: The name of the well associated with the interval. Clicking in this cell will open a Select Well dialog box, used to select a well or UWI when manually adding or editing an interval. Selecting a well will automatically populate the UWI column with the corresponding value.
UWI: The UWI associated with the interval. Clicking in this cell will open a Select Well dialog box, used to select a well when manually adding an interval. Selecting a well will automatically populate the Well column with the corresponding value.
Type: Interval type associated with the Interval Class displayed on the tab. You can add a new type from the Interval Class & Type Management dialog box.
Value: The value associated with the interval, expressed in the units of the Interval Type. This information isn't required.
Start Date: The start date associated with the interval. This information isn't required.
Stop Date: The stop date associated with the interval. This information isn't required.
Remark: A text field that allows you to provide additional information about the interval.
