Export Tools: Grids

The Save Grid dialog box is used to create a grid file that can be imported into other applications. If the surface that you are trying to export is not currently displayed, it will be generated from the picks using the gridding and conformability settings defined in theSurface Data and Display dialog box.

Grid File Format

Format: Select a format for the export file.

.grid: Export a .grid file.

.DAT: Export a Landmark ZMAP ,DAT grid file.

.xyz: Export a columnar ASCII grid file with columns separated by a tab, space, or comma.

Depth Type: Select the depth reference. Choose from TVD or TVDSS.

Depth Unit: Select the depth units used in the file. Choose from Meters or Feet.

XY Unit: Select the map units used in the file. Choose from Meters or Feet.

Directory: Select a folder location for the exported file. The exported files are automatically assigned names.

Select: Place a check mark next to each grid you want to export. Each grid will be save to a separate file. If the surface that you are trying to export is not currently displayed, it will be generated from the picks using the gridding and conformability settings defined in theSurface Data and Display dialog box.
