Well Zones Advanced Delete

The Well Zones Advanced Delete dialog allows you to delete multiple zones and zones types from multiple wells and sources from the database.

General Properties

Selection Lists

Before you can delete Well Zones, you need to select items from Wells, Zone Types, Zones, and/or Sources. You can limit the information available in each list by typing in the search bar.

Wells: A list of wells available in your project.

Zone Types: A list of zone types available in your project.

Zones: A list of zones available in your project.

Sources: A list of sources associated with the project.

Operations

Delete Matching Well Zones: Deletes matching well zones from the database based on your selections. Keep in mind that you need to make a selection in at least one of the Selection Lists in order to run an operation. A few examples:

Delete a zone from all wells and sources: Select the zone and leave wells and sources unselected. Alternatively, select the zone and select all wells and all sources.

Delete all zones from certain wells and sources: Select the well(s) and source(s) needed and leave zones unselected. You can also select the well(s) and source(s) needed and select all zones.

Delete all zones from project: Select all zones and do not make well or source selections. Alternatively, you can select all zones, all wells, and all sources.

Delete Duplicate Well Zones: Delete all duplicate wells zones from the database. A well zone is considered a duplicate if the Zone Type, Zone, and Source match. The SeisWare database allows you to have more than one zone of the same name and type for each well. Occasionally users will load their zones twice, causing there to be 2 identical entries for each zone. Choosing this option will delete the most recent set.
