Well Export: Specify Data

The Specify Data page allows you to specify the types of data to export. Not that not all data types are available for export in all formats, and that not all data types can be exported in a single file.

General well data

Turn this on to export general well data such as location and current status. You will be able to select the data to on the Well Information page.

Tops

Turn this on to export well tops. You will be able to select the tops to export on the Tops page.

Export tops as columns: Export formation tops with each top being a column in the file (sample file). Note: This option is only available when exporting tops to a columnar ASCII file.

Export tops as rows: Export formation tops with each top being a row in the file (sample file). The columns of the file will be UWI, Formation ID, Formation Top Depth and Source. Note:This option is only available when exporting tops to a columnar ASCII file. If you are also exporting general well data, as well as tops, the file will be exported with the tops as columns.

Velocity curves

Turn this on to export velocity curves. Note: Times are exported as two way times.

Active curves only: Only export the active velocity curve for each well selected.

All curves: Export all velocity curves for each selected well.

Export replacement velocity: turn this on to export the replacement velocity as an additional time/depth pair. The other time/depth pairs will be adjusted to compensate for the extra entry. Note: This will only affect velocity curves of type "Sonic Generated". Other types of velocity curves do not use a replacement velocity.

Directional surveys

Turn this on to export directional surveys.

Surface Locations: This item specifies how to export the X,Y locations of the directional survey.

Relative Offsets: Export the X,Y locations as offsets from the top hole location.
Absolute Positions:Export the X and Y locations as map locations.
Latitude/Longitude: Export the X,Y locations as latitude and longitudes. Note: This option is not available with Photon ASCII exports.

Surface Units: Specify the units to export the X,Y locations in. This option is only available when exporting relative offsets.

Meters: Export locations in meters.
Feet: Export locations in feet.

Production Data

Turn this on to export production data. You will be able to specify the fluid types to export on the Production Parameters page.
