Seismic Display Properties: Tops
The Tops page allows you to specify the appearance of well
tops
within the seismic display.
Select Tops to Display
Display Tops List: Select the list of tops to
display along with their
colors. These
lists are created in the Set Displayed Tops application. Click
to edit the list of tops being displayed or to create a new
list of tops.
Tops Location
Tops Location: Specifies where to place well tops.
Off: Do not display tops or labels.
On Well Bore: Place tops only on the well bore.
On Synthetic Track: Place tops on the synthetic track. Do no place them on the well bore.
On Well and
Synthetic: Place tops on the well bore as well as on the
synthetic track.
Tops Colors
Top Colors: Click
to edit colors for the tops.
Tops Labels
Tops Label Positions
Tops Labels: Specifies where to place well top labels.
Off: Do not display tops labels.
On Well Bore: Place tops labels only on the well bore.
On Synthetic Track: Place tops labels next to the synthetic track.
On Well and
Synthetic: Place tops labels on the well bore as well as
next to the synthetic track.
Label Position:
Left: Place labels to the left of the well bore or synthetic track.
Right: Place labels to the right of the well bore or
synthetic track.
Tops Label Depth Units
Top Value: Specifies how to display the value of the top. The value of the top is displayed next to the formation name.
None: Do not display the top value.
Subsea: Display the value of the top as subsea.
TVD (Well): Display the value of the top as true vertical depth relative to the datum elevation of the well.
MD: Display the value of the top as measured depth.
TVD (Seismic): Display the value of the top as true
vertical depth relative to the
depth seismic datum. This option is mostly intended as a QC tool when
displaying depth seismic data as TVD rather than subsea. Note: If you are displaying time seismic data the
value will be the same as the TVD (Well) option.
Tops Label Appearance
Label Background: Allows the user to the background of well top labels opaque, or transparent. Transparent labels will let the seismic show through.
Font: Define a font for the well top labels.
Font Size (Points): Define the size of the font in standard font point size.
