Seismic Viewer: Launching Inline/Crossline Displays

A perpendicular crossline display can be launched from a single layer inline display. Once a perpendicular display has been launched the two displays will be tied together.

ClosedHow do I launch a seismic display perpendicular to my current display?

  1. Click the Inline/Crossline icon on the Seismic toolbar.

  2. Click on the trace at which you wish to launch the intersecting display.

  3. Specify launch parameters .

  4. Click to launch the display in a new Seismic Viewer.

Note: The next time a perpendicular display is selected with the Inline/Crossline icon, the parameter dialog will not pop up.  Instead the launched display will simply scroll to the desired location.

General Information

Launch Inline/Crossline Parameters 

Trace: value contains the value of the trace that was clicked on.  

First Line: is the first line in the crossline to display. Override this value to load a subset of the crossline.  

Last Line: is the last line in the crossline to display. Override this value to load a subset of the crossline.
