Seismic Display Properties: Colors

The Colors page is used to specify the colors used in the display.


Wiggle Color Properties

Wiggle: The wiggle color is the color that wiggle traces will be rendered in.

Peak Fill: The peak fill color is the color used to fill peaks in wiggle trace displays with filled peaks.

Trough Fill: The trough fill color is the color used to fill troughs in wiggle trace displays with filled troughs.

General Color Properties

Background: The background color is the color of the backdrop on which the wiggles are drawn.  In addition it is used as the background color for the annotation.

Annotation: The annotation color is the color used to render the text in the annotation areas.

Highlight: This is the color used when drawing temporary objects on top of the seismic.  This includes distance measurements and correlation polygons as well as the anchor arrows for the interactive stretch/squeeze.


Interpolated Density Color Properties

The colorbar is used for interpolated density displays.

File: The file button allows the user to bring in a color palette from a file.

Edit:  The edit button will launch the palette editor and allow the user to edit the current color palette.

Flip: The flip button will reverse the color palette.

Color Palettes: The color palettes drop down allows the user to quickly select from the color palette files stored in the Palettes folder of the project folder.

Overlay Synthetic Colors

These are the wiggle colors used for drawing overlay synthetic traces.

Wiggle:The wiggle color is the color that wiggle traces will be rendered for overlay synthetics.

Peak:The peak color is the color used to fill peaks in overlay synthetic displays with filled peaks.

Trough: The trough color is the color used to fill troughs in overlay synthetic displays with filled troughs.
