Stretch/Squeeze Curve with Depth Pairs
Modify a log curve by selecting a reference track and adding depth pairs to match data with each other.
- Display two curve tracks.
- Select a curve for editing by clicking on it.
- Click the Stretch/Squeeze Curve with Depth Pairs icon
. - A Shift Table window will pop up.
- With your cursor, add in a depth pair on your reference track by left clicking. A corresponding depth marker will appear on the track with the selected curve for editing. Once the depth pair is added, the Shift Table will populate with the Original Depth, New Depth, and Shift amount for that depth pair.
- Adjust the depth pair by left clicking and holding one of the depth markers, and move your mouse to move the depth marker to the appropriate event on the track. You can also edit the depths and shift amounts in the Shift Table.
- Release your mouse button.
- You will then notice a semi-transparent red curve appear in the track with the selected curve for editing. This curve represents the transformations that will be applied to the original curve based off of the depth pairs. When adding depth pairs, use the original curve as your guideline.
- To add more depth pairs, repeat steps 5. - 7.
- Once you are satisfied with the placement of the depth pairs, you can right click on the edited curve and save the curve and the Depth Shift Table.

Shift Table
Use the Shift Table to QC and modify the depths and shifts of the depth pairs. Each row corresponds to a depth pair starting from the top of the track to the bottom.
